1992 Soldano HR 50 with Soldano 4x12 cab. Cab has British-made Celestion Vintage 30s. Has about 12 - 16 hours on the JJ 6L6's & 12AX7's. Amp was biased a bit hotter for a little more bottom end & gain. This amp is no show piece... it has been used for what it was intended for! It's been in studios, theaters, & smoky-ass bars. I perform general maintenance once every three months, including cleaning & checking out all solder points, etc. I have NEVER had to hit a solder point & this amp has never failed me. Not once! This is by far the best amp I have ever owned, period. The only reason I'm selling it is to fund the purchase of a Soldano SLO. I absolutely hate to get rid of this, but I can't afford the SLO oughtright. Barring any shipping incident, I guarantee this amp will be in perfect working order for whoever buys it. If you have any further questions, just send me a message. I've sold things via YouTube before & had better luck than EBay because we get to dictate our own terms! I do have 100% feedback on EBay, by the way (both as a seller & buyer). The amp is $1500 OBO!!!! Head & cab. This thing will be pretty expensive to ship, But I will work with the pricing to help out any way I can. Just let me know & thanks for watching!
I forgot to mention that I was using medium output Rio Grande BBQ Bucker & Genuine Texas pickups, just to give an idea of the potential!

  • Sold my HR50 XL for 500 bucks!!! Tune the guitars!

  • @Danyerd $500? Why so cheap? And, yes, I shoulda checked my tuning before this. Quite embarrassing!

  • what song were you playing at 2:09 - 2:30?

  • @drift221 "Garden of the Gods" by Echoes of Eternity

  • Hello you sold this amp to buy a slo? did you need a louder amp or was there a tone difference, or slo the baddest amp on the planet?

  • @calfender08 Bit of a tone difference. I actually got a good deal on a Soldano Avenger. Definitely a meaner sounding amp than the Hot Rod. I still want the SLO, but I had to divert funds to my truck/project!! SLO is a bad amp, though!
