I like the doves and other indie, alternative bands, but better than queen... really? That's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. I am not a doves hater btw and I enjoy their music.

@Fufubackglands I'd agree with everything you said - except for the Smiths! I think The Smiths edge them out. I'll compromise - it's a tie between The Smiths and Doves!

I've seen Doves, I've seen Coldplay. I've seen Queen, I've seen The Rolling Stones. I've Seen James, Kasabian, Oasis, Killers, Razorlight, Smiths, Blur, Billy Ray C, Stereophonics, KoL, the lot. Let me tell you boys and girls - Doves are better than all of the above. Technically, spiritually, musically superior. If you've never witnessed them live - go ahead, make an old bohemian happy that he imparted some benefit upon the world! xxx
