@JesseVincentTorres Well. Luigi is still a lot more popular than he was back in the late 90's. Think about it because he's playable in Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and even Super Paper Mario. I know that he might not be playable from the start, but all that it matters is that you can play as him later. :) I think that Nintendo wants Mario and Luigi to become equally popular because Luigi is playable in all of the latest Mario games.
