Will the hydraulic motor likely push RWD or FWD? How much torque and for how long? Will we see this any time soon in passenger pickup trucks?

In a pickup truck or minivan application will the hydraulic transmission (mostly likely) be RWD or FWD? How much torque will this produce/add and for how long? Any chance of a design where 4 cylinder motor will drive FWD at crusing and RWD will be driven at take off and when extra torque is needed. Is this how this will likely be implemented. and chance we will see this in passenger vehicles any time soon?

The first hydraulic hybrid was patent was in 1972, it used a 850 Fiat in Miami, FL. But a couple years later in 1979, I registered my car in Florida and in Arizona that had a EPA -listed car with 40 city and 53 on Highway. So this is not new technology,

Don't forget that this can be applied to electric cars as well. Its far more efficient than the current regen sytems. A company in Korea are already doing this with pneumatics, they are called Energine. The car is called a PHEV, Pneumatic Hybrid Electric Vehicle.
