  • oh the trouble i have had trying to get that right! many many thanks.... do you put any resin on the wheel as well?

  • Not routinely. Rosin is essential for a good sound but too much rosin is the most common cause of a poor tone. Only add a bit of rosin when the lack of response from the strings tells you to.
