Brawl shows how well the player can read and predict his opponent.
Melee used more techniques to better predict their opponent.

Melee did give you more to think about, however. There are things safe in this game that wouldn't be in Melee. So while I'm not discrediting Brawl, I don't think the statement is 100% true. It was read and react in Melee. and one mistake could truly cost you. Reading your opponent was beyond essential. (Isai) Predicting was about eliminating their options.I think Brawl just confines you in a set of rules like Checkers. Where Melee is like Chess. Both good games. Just different.

The first one was a remix of Deceitful Wings from Atelier Iris and the 2nd one was a remix of Gilgamesh's theme from Final Fantasy 5
