The Band of the Coldstream Guards is the countrys oldest-serving military band and, one of the oldest regiments in the world. With an impressive 361-year history they are the oldest continual surviving recording artists in the world. It is the Coldstream Guards that is renowned for performing the theme tune to Dads Army. Heroes is a collection of epic tunes including "Land Of Hope And Glory", "Where Eagles Dare" and "The Great Escape".

Yes it is set to Holst's Jupiter although he did re-arrange the piece of music to fit the poem not the other way around.

i love what the army has done and i love to hear the cold stream guards play because i am in the army cadets and i am in the corp of drums and i am inspired by the army bands, also i will always be very proud and appreciative of all who are or going to be in the army xxxxxx
