Meet Andy from Applications Engineering. Andy is the young blood of the Engineering Mind crew, introducing a fresh, new, intolerable perspective to the mix. In his free time, he enjoys complaining to anyone who will listen -- a perfect fit for our team. This is his biggest achievement since fully understanding fixed-point notation.
Today, he gives his two cents on the do-it-yourself craze all engineers fall prey to.
I'm in my first year studying Engineering, and I can't testify enough to how true this is! But, I think I have a solution! Integrate, kill two birds with one stone! That arcade cabinet you've always wanted to build? Find a way to fit it into your day to day schedule. For example, in grade 10 I built an arcade cabinet, by making it my main project for a construction course I took.

And dont even think about throwing me out of here, you are an engineer not a pussy boy, who cant even look the truth in the eye! I am just being real, so watch where you click your mousse button!

I'd say that's an accurate description of my life. I've had to learn to slow down... which results in even more unfinished projects.
