First of all, i wanna say something, download Linux, it's better than windows

Now im gonna tell u my problem...

I have a program called,

NETGEAR WG111v3.exe its my internet, i want to stop using windows, BUT i cant gain acces to the internet, because i cant open .exe files...

anyone wanna help me?

I know that im a noob, but linux is better, and i ant complaining, im just a starter, who needs help :]

I don't know about configuring your device but on an .EXE file you must right click and then tick the thing that says run as executable file.

i have ubuntu linux...... and it pisses me of because i cant do much on it .... it doesnt run most games... it doest run cd.rom ...  and anything with .exe

what version of ubuntu are you using, because i have ubuntu 9.10 and all i did was plug in the netgear wg111v3 adapter into linux and clicked the network icon in the bar at the top of the screen, found my Wireless network typed in my password, and i had internet.
