  • I am so scared ight now and I'm watching it in the daytime and music and the clown creeped me out most of all.

  • What's this song????i want

  • that clown scared me more than anything else in this vid. lol

  • Some local "Yacht clubs" use the park to access the lake for boating, and there are fish in the lake..

  • The site still exists, and there are quite a few of the original "ride" shells (in VERY bad condition and unsafe to get very near, in fear of them collapsing on top of you!) .there's a ferris wheel (cable powered, and one of the FASTEST ferris wheels EVER built. With a TREE growing right through the center.I live 20 miles from this park, and it's AMAZING to walk through the park and imagine what it once was...Some of the buildings that remained have since been torn down, along with the coasters.

  • One of the rides left to rot is called "The Bug", and is one of only three such rides that exist in the entire USA....The "Bugs", or cars of the ride were simply left sitting on the track for 30+ years in the elements....There are houses that call the park their "backyard", and I'm sure some of those houses had teenagers, and they tend to enjoy "goofing off", drinking beer, and damaging things for fun, which is probibally the source of a lot of the vandalism on the property.

  • What happened? Cedar Point and Geauga Lake park were expanding leaps and bounds (larger geographical area/acreage allowed for more sprawling rides, and the fact that Chippewa was just a little "family" amusement park, actually more of a small roadside camp park than what most would consider an "amusement park" in modern terms. The park closed in 1978, and has remained MOSTLY untouched (aside from some graffiti and a few cases of arson) the coasters were simply left there to rot...

  • To bad, such a great old park.

  • what happened here?

  • so sad
