The Saint Lucia Teachers Union is concerned about the health and safety of its members following the closure of the Corinth Secondary School due to investigations into a possible outbreak of H1N1 at that institution.
The Unions General Secretary says the SLTU remains out of the loop in dialogue on a protocol to handle potential cases of the virus within schools. But Wayne Cumberbatch says the safety of teachers is the STLUs business and wants the Union to be part of the discussion.
