This is on the border in the Joint Security Area in Panmunjeom.

This was shot from my camera during a visit in April 2007.

  • @EdMcF1 uniform guys are just guards they don't participate in such meetings. And you know, North korea is under a personal dictatorship. It's really hard to negotiate with communism one-party state in a rational way

  • @0solgil Yes, but perhaps better if done by men and women in suits and not uniforms? I hope that they both realise that this is the biggest and probably longest waste of lives, time and resources on the planet. It is a fascinating place.

  • @EdMcF1 South and North Korea have some ideaolgic problems but they both are tring to reunite the nation so they need an official meeting place

  • @0solgil Thanks, that's not a distinction people often make. Would they be better with both just leaving it?

  • @EdMcF1 it's in JSA not DMZ

  • @amolmshanbhag Don't forget Iran.

  • @SamiasCaesar Both sides are at fault what happens when you have a communist North and a Democratic South, but both want a Unified Korea....

  • @amolmshanbhag bullshit. im from america and i like to look a bit farther than just 2 feet in front of me. fuck your talk about communism and islam being a threat to the world. what in heaven's name are you talking about, you dumb sack? it has nothing to do with ideologies anymore, just power and dominance. when has communism been a threat to the united states recently? rather, is it stupid countries and governments instead? is it maybe north korea thats the problem, and not communism?

  • @amolmshanbhag Islam isn't and shouldn't be a threat to this world. It's the radicals who pervert the Qur'an teachings thinking that they are supposed to kill westerners and more specifically Americans because they are "nonbelievers". Radicals give religions a bad name. Take Hitler for example. He claimed he was a Christian, but how many Christians do you know want to exterminate an entire race of people? Study up on religions before you accuse an entire faith of something it isn't.
