Brandy (You're A Fine Girl)

So I learned this song in a short period of time, again, and did so many attempts at recording I got frustrated. I took a day to relax and attempted it again. I finally nail it, but, every video can't be perfect. Take a look...

Also, many might know this as a song that the RHCP covered live at Hyde Park, but it's actually a song from 1973. I like this song, and Flea...so I decided to try and combine both of their bass lines into one. You won't hear much of a difference really from Flea's version except that I tried to do less fills and keep it close to original. Also, when Flea plays, he does most of the main melody an octave higher than Looking Glass.

Actually me thinks your pops dropped in because he was hearing a serious groove... he may have made a ruse about a computer needing fixing ...but the way he looked at your strumming , means you got a great pops and I thinks he just dropped in to say, "damn, that's my son on the base" ...good show!

That was great. Seriously great. Your dad oming in was funny, impressed how you kept the groove going. I love this sing, trying to learn it on guitar myself...it's pretty hard. For me at least. Anywho, well done.
