I wasnt the biggest fan of this guy the thing he did at the very beginning when he was the queen freaked me out, he killed this song and i will never forget when he sung Resume your ranks, Im so glad youre not thespians and take my daughters all of whom are lovely". I'm sure hed be hilarious in another context but this didnt work all that well for me it was ok but not great (i enjoyed the rest cast though)in my opinion you cant go past derek metzger as the major general hes a comic genius :-D

I've not seen this version before {I live in a EssGee closet with Drew Forsythe as the MG} I was priviliged to see the production live and in awe to this day. Jon English has always been my idol {for to many years to mention} And Simon G..who can forget "My Friend" with Jackie Love? Sadly my video player died and I have all three Essgee Entertainment videos which when depressed, often {when you say often do you mean orphan?} I viewed at full volume, laughed and cried in sync. Thanks 4 sharing:o}
