if you are laying there with a sucking chest wound, it is 600 yards to carry your 190lbs self to the Pick up Zone, who do you think is best able to pick you up in the fireman carry, and get you there?

As a biologist, I can tell you that men & women are different down to muscle cells and no amount of exercise or political muscle can change that.

It's not like this is a first in history. Ask the Ex-Sowjets and Israelis. They had women in combat in wars. It was a disaster. therefore women were banned.

In war the obvious differences between the sexes become christall clear. In war there are no double standards and the weaknesses of women will be exploited without mercy.

How brainwash works: They (government, media, etc.) tell you that men and women are equal in any way often enough till you come to believe it.

But Males and females ARE biologically different, and no amount of PC, womens whinning is ever going to change that or magically make the sexes somehow equal.

i have never seen any "admissions" as to the IDF regretting allowing the enlistment and service of women. in war battles are won not by the strength of the soldier. but by the skills of the individual soldiers and the tactics they employ as one. physical strength is meaningless in combat, most women who even got into the military wold have at least passed a basic physical training program which would be all they need for patrolling. actually destroying the enemy is dependent on tactics and skill

Israel’s experience with allowing women was a disaster by Israel’s own admission.

Muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance are the keys to effective task performance.

Men have more muscle mass,denser bones and connective tissue than females. Males typically have larger tracheae and branching bronchi, with about 56 percent greater lung volume. They have larger hearts, 10% higher red blood cell count, higher haemoglobin, hence greater oxygen-carrying capacity.

Exceptions only prove the rule.

its obvious you use the term "brainwashed" to be provocative so i will ignore that pointless remark. first of all israel still allows women to enlist. secondly of corse women are not as strong as men, but in war the best soldier is the one that can use their rifle to its utmost efficiency; this has nothing to do with physical strength. thirdly if i was shot i would rather a women drag me out of combat than die. thats assuming there are no male soldiers in the area, in which case they would help.

1) Front line men do everything together creating cohesiveness & trust. Will women be segregated in the field where there is no privacy?

2) This will increase sexual harassment, rape, and punishment for fraternization which is already a big problem

3) Women have 20-50% less muscle fibers than men the same weight

4) Amenorrhoea will become a very serious issue on the line

5) Menstrual hygiene while on the front line will be a big issue

6) Many PR problems will be covered up even more than today

Former 82nd ABN: I have never seen a woman able to carry a full combat load a full 12 miles as minimum requirement for the US Army Infantry. Special Ops requirements only go up from there. Push-ups, sit-ups, and 2-mile run is just a minimum baseline and if all you can do is the minimum, you'll wash out of all front line MOS's. Women have 20-50% less muscle fibers than men depending on location on body. It's science, not prejudice.

According to the news that I read- women will be held to the same standards in order to be eligable for combat positions. I think if a woman can complete the training and hold her own, there is no reason they should be banned from serving if that's what they want to do.
