What I would really like to know is" does cod liver oil affect/ delay the period?" I've looked all over the web and found nothing. I started taking cod liver oil tablets and vitamin B complex at the same time and I was die a period some time this week. Have the tablets affected my period cycle??? :)

Kevin,
I agree with you on the fish and krill oil. But why not eat mercury free fish.
Thats what we did it before we had pills and oils to buy in the store.

Oh! I recently read a study that diabetics need to be very careful about cod liver oil because they have found that it's harder to balance their blood sugar if they are taking it. Again though, your right that if your getting it from a natural source and not a supliment the dangers are much lower and far fewer.

I think frozen fruits and veggies should definitely count. I feel like it's a great way to start on the path to less processed foods to. I noticed that often after eating the food I used to buy I was still hungry so I left processed foods and for a month ate nuts and fruit smoothies and vegies and non processed meats. OMG WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I got full faster though for the 1st month I was eating a lot. I felt like I had been starved. I think we were being starved, by processed foods.

i would like to say (being a diabetic) not all diabetics get it from eating or gaining weight and such, lots of diabetics get diabetes from there gens, like myself, there are 3 types of diabetes, type 1 is genetic, type 2 is older people/obese people, and type 3 is found mostly in pregnant women, most of the type 1's are young, they usually call type 1 juvenile diabetes because so many children are diabetic.

From my understanding of biology freezing living cells alters the cells especially when unfrozen....something with salts bursting the cell membrane...hm maybe that only applies to mammals cells? Heck, I'd still eat it.

Ah! thanx Kevin! Well it depends...do you differentiate raw from fresh? Some define raw as an item unaltered from its natural state. Also, how was the item frozen? Technically, I wouldn't consider frozen food raw nor particularly fresh (if the method of freezing is 'plopping it into the freezer') because 'freezing' is a 'process' in itself like dehydrating and cooking (though not as damaging as cooking I'd assume).
