Al just set it off throught the whole thing but from 2:13-2:45 he had me clappin my hands!! then my sister walked in and cought me, she sat down and I told her she had to see this. then deborahhhh.... lord have mercy, she just made me stand righ on up!! but I would have loved to see Al's reaction when she ripped that organ at 3:57 I was in a trannssss!! my sister was like, "OOOOoooo you better rewind that"!! hahahaaaa Great feeling watching this..

mmmh..mmmh..mmmh...play on Ms Deborah, honey, yuh takin' us back to church, now! Down in the soul is where this song comes from, in the first place. Everything about it is so deep, it can't come from the upper layers, where everything is still raw and angry and bitter. You got to reach way down to be able to say the things this is saying, and mean it. Good video example of two oh-so-satisfying complementary performances. Thank you for posting it for us.
