Listening to your thoughts, your voice, your laugh, I learn that you are a beautiful and lovely soul. Millions love you, but you really missed having a family surrounding you with security, closeness and the sense of belonging.
Is it possible that our souls do not die, but return in some way or form? My best wishes to you, Marilyn, to have the happiness that you richly deserve.

There will be imitators, but there will not be another you, Marilyn.
You could make a stone turn to butter...you were so hot!
I am sorry that you had to pay the price of being a celebrity.
Those of us who experienced you among us will never forget you.

@marilyn69monroe First there were silent stars. Vamps like Theda Bara, Pola Negri, and lesser-known ones. They were generally dark and exotic. Later came Clara Bow, the reigning sexy star right before Harlow. All the names I mentioned can be seen and enjoyed on youtube.

@kary2119 No, she was never afraid of getting old. She said she wanted to stay true to the face that was given to her, and so only ever had minor surgery and was never afraid of losing her fame, as she said it "comes and goes" so y'know...
-
it sadden me because someone so talented and cheerful could have been soo sad that her life was cut short
-
i thought Hugh Hefner was the first person to get a nude pic of her?

Why won't Pat Newcomb ever say anything,if this indeed was her best friend. If they fought over Marilyn's pills,I think maybe Pat changed the insides of the capsules with Benedryl or something.. If so,she knows she was the cause of this. Having strong drugs around is always a temptation to many. The maid was suppose to be out of the country on the 5th ? Eunice Murray was dancing in the driveway 2 days after the funeral. Eunice was just evil to me. Many said she had a electric touch.

@Smurfy281 - Do you mean an "aura" around her? If s then yes. She was just very special, and everyone she worked with, even if they were ticked that she tended to be tardy, said she was a once in a lifetime talent. And a terrible loss when she passed.

JUSTICE FOR NORMA, ARREST HYMAN FOR MURDER....EUNICE TOO, BUT THAT EVIL HAG IS DEAD, NO JUSTICE YET? WHEN WILL HYMAN ROT IN PRISON? STUDIO TOLD HIM TO FIX IT.
-

She had the sweetest voice... <3
-
Don't you americans think it is time all these "legal"murders by practically the same people and organisations should stop?..Are you not have enough of it yet? What does it take..an other 911?
-
That poor girl was underestimated by so many people.
-
-
@kary2119 she wanted to have kids and have a hubby whom she could spend long hours on the porch. :\ she wasn't afraid to get old.
-
@MrsJones57 Suicide doesn't have a sound....
-
@marilyn69monroe welllll what did she say? if you do not mind sharing
-

-
She's ONE OF A KIND. And never will there be another!

@kary2119 I know your comment is old, but just wanted to tell you that the 50's stars weren't like today's stars. 50's marks the creation of the star system, and Marilyn was a part of this. she was MADE a star, she didn't chose it. She maybe wanted to be an actress but maybe not the star she became. I read she wanted to be a serious actress and was unhappy with the status of light movies sex symbol star.

to draw her as an artist... abstract or pictures would have been nearly a orgasm of joy only felt at the eyes of the viewer but melted into the hands of the artist.
What was it about Marilyn? I mean i've watched some of her stuff and hopefully getting to see the movie some point soon, but there seems to be an aurora around her?
Was she the first one to bring sexuality on to fame?

It's true, no matter how or who killed her, Marilyn is gone forever. However, I don't think that until Ethel Kennedy is also gone, that we will ever be able to know who or what killed Marilyn, out of respect for Ethel. All of the others involved are dead now, except Ethel: Marilyn, JFK, RFK, and Jacky. And, even if her death had gone to trial, I'm sure that reasonable doubt would be a shoo in, and that would have not resulted in any answers either. Time will tell...
