That used to be the plan, but the show lasted too long and the awarding of the cash prizes too contentious. So now, the HBCUs compete locally throughout the year and the top ten perform and each get a check for about $10,000-$20,000.00 Not bad, eh?

just amazing dont care about yall opinions mine is dont perform on the same feild with this band at the same show or on the same day or with the same crowd theyll make you look----- well not so great.

@txlipoors yeah i agree. fam would win. but because they're overhyped, not cause they're better

Why r people so jealous of the 100' ... tru dat', there are some really great programs out there, however I don't hear of or see them making "International" headlines. Make no mistake, FAMU is and will always be America's band... you other flunkees sit back and watch us do what we do!
I have never been to this battle of the bands in Atlanta but I think it would be a great idea if they actually gave a winner of the competition so that everyone will know who the best really is. To be honest with you I think they're afraid to do that because FAMU would just win it every year.
