  • TEG's are noted for their low efficiency. But, when you need reliable power 24/7 in a remote place that has little or no solar exposure... for example, a radio repeater... then there are few other options. It's actually very cost effective in those situations.

  • While they might be inefficient, their ability to work with any heat source makes them amazing.

  • Looks very inefficient way to generate 50 watts of electricity, not to mention cost of system

  • really.? how much? and what is the efficiency as compared to an ice generator?

    i am looking for some big TEG to use as a way to convert solar from fresnel lenses and a sun tracker mounted on a roof, big lenses from old rear projection tv's ,
