@garryschyman I hope you write the score for Bioshock Infinite. Bioshock's music really did a lot for the setting the atmosphere and in my opinion, allowed me to further immerse myself in the game. It would be cool if you could do the same again ;)

Somewhere in rapture cohen is crying because his song is a sensation on youtube. And that hes also mentally rtarted.(Literally he actually is.)

dude... use your body more. be visually expressive. don't just gingerly touch the keys with your fingers. jeez. maybe the reason your "fingers fall off" after playing it too much is because you don't use enough arm power. Also, chord rubato is sometimes desirable and I think you should follow the original piano player in the original soundtrack; he does a great job.
ur pretty good

Or maybe they fall off because I practice the song for 1.5 hours at a time. ;) True, I'm not so expressive, but it often comes with practice - when I'm concentrating too much on what I'm supposed to be playing next, I'm not so worried about the movements of the rest of my body. There's no "flow" till I don't have to think about the notes anymore. And he does do a great job -- which's why he gets paid to do incredible things like that while I just get some cheap thrills. :P
Thanks!

My good friend Garry Schnyman sent me this link. Great job so far! We've added BioShock into our show (Video Games Live) and are also going to be including this exact piano piece as well.

Thank you for your encouragement! I hope you'll revisit when I finally get it polished as well as I can. :)
Oh, that's fantastic to hear! I've only just heard about Video Games Live from friends due to my obsession with Cohen's, and I'm very sad that I missed the LA performance. But maybe I can make the Seattle one! It would be incredible see my favorites being performed live.

Wow! you're getting there! I will have to send this to Brian P. (the pianist who recorded this for me last February). I can't wait to hear it in a week or two!
Best,
Garry Schyman (the composer) :)

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much. :) Eep...I better stop being lazy and practice a lot more, then... -.-
Btw, thank you so much for releasing the sheet music. I can honestly say that I have never, in my entire life, been so single-minded in learning a song. It's been a huge inspiration this last month and a half - not only in my piano practicing, but in other projects as well. :) It's a *beautiful* piece and I hope you'll consider writing more like it in the future!
