@idontsignin most players retire at 29 or 30 in tennis.everybody knows this.and graf getting beat soundly on her favorite surface at wimbledon by davenport knew it was time to retire.she wouldnt have won any more slams.plus the william sisters were young and on the move.and graf knew this.she barely beat venus at wimbledon.i think she knew by next year she wouldnt.

Funny how Graff goes from dominating before Seles shows up, then goes 1-3 against Seles in Slam finals, then starts to dominate again after Seles is gone. Although theres no doubt in my mind she would have matched or beaten Graf's slam total, total numbers arent even the true measure of greatness. I saw a prime Seles destroy a prime Graf 3 out of 4 times. I know Seles was better. Good Game

LOL Yah right. Keep riding Graff's dick. First of all i saw an over the hill, post stabbed Seles give a prime Serena a challenge. Seles was extremely powerful and extremely quick. Secondly, the Williams didnt even start to dominate till the end of 2000..8 years after Seles got stabbed, leaving time for about 30 more grand slams before the Williams even show up, not to mention she already had 8 in less than years .
