  • Omg, I love wearing the type of pj`s you`re wearing. They`re so comfortable. Everytime I go to Khmer, I always come back with 20 of them. Lol.

  • @iyouchan You and me both...hehe!

  • coconut soda, do you mean like sweet carbonated coconut soft drink??? Can you explain a bit more this ingredient, thx.

  • @westislandkev Yes, you can use that.

  • @ladyfoxx I would also like to know.

  • can you tell me the name of the singer & the title of the song? my mother-in-law likes this type of music. Thanks!

  • This is one of my favorite in khmer cooking. For a second there i thought i was actually smelling the food lol.

  • I've never seen kar siche chrouk made from pork chops before. I used the pork shoulder part of the pig to make it as it has so much more flavor to it.

  • I make mine completely diffrent from your recipe. I like the song though. I do a few things to cheat HEHE. And I'm probably one of the only men to watch the video. I use sprite instead of coconut soda and add coconut creme after. I also brown the pork with the sugar and garlic to lock in more flavor. Also like the comment about the brown sugar. taste better and is better for you. I also add a little powdered chill that my mom makes herself. Extra kick. I'm Khmer Saren so I like da spicey.HEHE.

  • I love that you used lean pork but I've never had it with fish sauce or bamboo shoots. This is more like soup than a kaw. I may be wrong, it's probably a regional thing also.

  • @mskatwoman022008

You can try brow sugar next time, that way there's no chance that you'll accidentally burn the sugar. I've burned my sugar plenty of times and I found that brown sugar in kaw taste so much better.

  • @kcl060 Yay1 I'm so glad to hear that. That's how I learned how to cook b/c if I want to eat my favorite dishes, gotta learn the recipe.
