  • PLEASE READ AT LEAST THE CAPITAL

and dont forget the beginning chapters

  • commodity fetishism refers to inherent necessities; only existing in cap.

commodities split into 2 sides through exchanging: the practical - & the exchange value (more or less represented in money)

the creation of this exchage value in a production process (using labour the only commodity costing less than it produces) is the primery function of cap. society & determining the frame of all human acivities & free choice. for example impling a cost-benifit ratio. here lies also the reification.

  • thanx. great presentation, but the definition of commodity fetishism is not simplified, but wrong. that has implications on understanding capitalism & overcoming it.

one is to mix up the division of labour with capitalism & thinking the division of labour needs to be reduced or abolished.

true is: no capitalism without labour division, but not the other way around

so in a postcapitalist society producers & consumers don't need to know eachother as well. production does not have to be primitive.

  • "... the ahh peecedents for situationism..."

    What a dumbo.

  • Very good talk. I like how you connected it with the epic Bauhaus school. Well done.
