Exciting! Small super soft toys are cool, something smaller than bubs. The plastic rings are good because they can grasp them. They like watching gentle movement. We got one of those infant mental stimulation mobiles and our son is smarter than I am. A daily routine is important. Gripe water is magic. Smile at him and say nice things. They try to communicate from the first day. Take pictures every day. Stay calm. Have fun!

Congrats on the baby! Very exciting. First toys should be very bright or even black and white. I would recommend books, books, books. Read to your baby every day and encourage interaction. Reading is something you can't forgo. I'm sure you'll be a great dad. Remember to encourage the creativity in your child, but teach boundaries as well. Be blessed.

It helps with gassy babies. Sometimes they get a gas bubble they can't pass and it hurts them. We buy ours but you can make it too. Talk to your doctor or midwife obviously. :)
