Roman Around - Lake Garda

This is a re-post of a video I put up last week and pulled down within a few hours for various reasons. I can't seem to get around the terrible compression and off-sync audio in this video but I'll leave it up anyway... I appreciate all of you who commented before and I apologise for not replying at that time.... I have made some changes in the editing and also switched out some music for two original songs written, performed and produced by my very talented brother, Marty. I hope you enjoy.

About the location: The beautiful peninsula of Sirmione is situated on the southern end of Lake Garda in Northern Italy. Olive trees, weeping willows, cypress groves and lemon trees rim the footpath from the 13th century Scaligera Fortress to the majestic grounds of the Grottoes of Catullo.
The archeological site is on the very end of the peninsula and consists of the remains of a grandiose Roman villa. The thermal baths of the waters once afforded a popular resort and playground for Rome's rich and famous. Originally the magnificent villa of the Roman poet Catullus, Julius Caesar and other Roman dignitaries were frequent guests at this oppulent spa. The residential complex dates from the Imperial age (approximately the first century B.C.).

One of my favourite locations. The video quality on this one bugs me - was compressed badly and it's a shame because the original is so clear. I have since returned from the drawing board and YT allows larger uploads.

I am just gonna hang my camera out the window of my appartment for an afternoon Tom- There are a bunch of local gentlemen who hang out at the caffe bar across the piazza everyday and play cards (scopa or someting) and yell and argue about soccer and politics -funny how I don't even hear it now but at first I was mesmerized.

shhhh...I personally find the croc trend horrific because they are so damned uncomfortable! (um and ugly - but maybe that's the appeal! hahaha)
