this brought me to tears. 3 guys (1 senior and 2 postgrads) committed suicide this past summer. this year has been difficult for everyone. this song is so special to me...

I love Switchfoot's normal stuff but THIS... words can't even explain...amazing and heart wrenching.

@Seetheairuhh I'm sorry, that's all I can say..........
-
I named my guitar November after this song.

I just don't know how break down my heart is when I listen to it .....

@whpriol1 Do you honestly think Jon Foreman intentionally ripped off Jackson Browne? That sounds like criticism solely for the sake of criticism.

"Somebody's baby" is a very common lyric. It's not like the rest of the lyrics, which make up most of the song, are the same. It's a totally different song.

@Seetheairuhh woah, sierra? I just looked up this song from jessie's cd... And i agree with you completely. Every time I hear this song I think of her. But I also think of how much she brought everyone together that day, even though it was for the wrong reasons. We were all there for each other. That's how it will always be..

this song is sooooo true.. just because someone messed up in life doesnt mean they need to be judged and treated badly.. they have a family that loves them.. and even if they dont.. God loves them and who are we to disrespect something that God loves the same that He loves anyone else
An 8th grade girl at our school committed suicide this week. She had been in the ICU for a week and she died at 2:30 this morning. After school, I got into my car, and my car started playing this song on cd. This is Nicole's song. To anyone who reads this: you have so much to live for and you are so loved.
