Kings Dominion 2010

It had been since 2004 since our last trip to Kings Dominion. Intimidator 305 finally was the attraction to make us say, lets go! Kings Dominion has earned the title of mega-park with world class coasters such as Volcano, Dominator and now I-305. Another reason for the trip was to once again ride Dominator, which used to grace the skylines of Geauga Lake, as shown from the opening sequence to this video. Along with Dominator, the El Dorado car ride and Americana Ferris Wheel were also transplants from the former Geauga Lake park.

trim brakes were added to i305 in september i think that reduced the top speed from 94 mph to 79 mph to prevent blackouts around the first turn... im lucky i got to ride it before but yes i almost blacked out... but thats what makes it fun!
