Hanging on a Dream // The recordings

Spyros Pan filmed during the recording sessions at Sierra studios in July 2009. A rather experimental approach to recording was taken using a mix of several vintage mics and special mic placements in Studio A of the Sierra Studios complex. A total of 12 Mics were used to capture the full sound of the hang and then mixed on a NEVE 8078 40/32. The video was shot on a Nikon D90 DSLR .

One of the best recordings of the Hang "sound" I have heard. Don't think I could get so many mic's in my front room ;-)
