Anza founder Charlie Davis discusses making high carbon steel knives from files and the beginnings of his company from 1980-1982. Charlie also briefly shows how he makes knives and demonstrates the difference between a brittle file and one that's had the temper drawn down to make it tough and flexible.

  • More More! Loved this vid and your sharing about the files. Would really like to see more of you, your shop, philosophy, products, etc.. I found you through budda734, one of my fav knife reviewers.

  • I'm hoping Charlie will have another one made. In the mean time, I'm working on getting budda734 another Anza knife to review.
