As LinkedIn's #1 Career Coach Dilip Saraf was interviewed for a magazine article. This video resulted from the excerpts from that interview done in March 2010. Dilip's message: Don't just be a passenger of a bus in your life's journey, be its driver, instead! Learn how, by watching this clip!
I have heard Dilip at various TIE events and have always appreciated his simple and powerful message. He asks basic fundamental questions, which makes you think real hard. This is a nice video...

This clip really opens up many insights that I wish I had 20 years back! I did all of those things he talks about: work hard, stay out of trouble, go out of my way to help others. That got me nowhere! I wish I had asked for what I wanted, and not just wait for it to happen - because it never did! I also find his ongoing blog postings very useful. Many Thanks!

Excellent video about how one can build a personal brand of success - through mastering the 5Qs and unleashing the genius within. Most people sell their past to build their future. Whereas when companies hire, they are looking for people who will contribute to their future. A resume that presents a futuristic story of what you can do for the company is lot stronger than one that mostly dwells on the past. Dilip's story of the Sr Director wonderfully reiterates this success tip for job seekers.

Very insightful! First Dilip inspires us to have faith in our capabilities so that we don't undersell ourselves. He then makes us aware of the subconscious cultural programming that often times gives us wrong guidance on how to succeed and manage our career. Now that I know the 5 Qs, I am eager to redo myself
