Diamond Weapon

Diamond Weapon starts the battle with a physical immunity (limits are excluded) and to remove it you have to use 2 Limits.
After that his physical immunity will be removed but he starts a Countdown and not defeating him before it reaches zero would result in a huge time loss (if not a game over) and that's not acceptable in a speedrun.
So Deathblow is not allowed to miss.
Actually if it misses once he could still be very close to death (depending on the Dice damage), in which case one Trine with Cloud finishes him.

This battle has to be one of my best, getting a perfect damage Dice (1/216 chance) and all the Deathblows hitting was incredibly lucky :P

Levels are 30-31.

damn I'm stuck here on my run =[

but it's my first ever speed run and i have 8:40 so far =]

one thing i noticed though is your added cut does double the damage that mine does =/ well your just normal attacks do double what mine do but your deathblows do the same.

i use a PAL copy could that be why?

but basically on mine deathblow does 4* the damage a normal attack does (which is half of what you seem to do)

i think 9:47 is good for my first ever speed run :D

and i beat my target of 10 hours so my next run I'm aiming for 9:30

To remove his physical immunity you have to use 2 Limit Breaks (you'll notice he starts the countdown after the second Limit Break).
