This is a pretty tight back into a dock at a shipper. I made this clip of another SWIFT Driver putting his truck in there.

  • i think it is the forklift guy backing the truck, he told the swift driver to step out for a sec.

  • Good One!! HaHa.

  • HA!

I get weary whenever i get near a Swift Driver, too.

It's like: Would you rather be behind him (to run over the parts falling off)? or ahead of him (so his failed brakes/sleeping) can stop him?

I will not convoy with a Swift Driver.

  • I'm not sure where you get those notions...I guess it's just going along with all the crap you hear and not paying attention to facts or thinking for yourself. Anyway...

  • not bad at all. Did you have to make the same dock to?

  • Not today, but I have had to do it before. One day I had to get my load reworked three times, and had to do it each time. I was not in a good mood that day, but that's a long story.

  • They should make the architect that designed the parking lot do it.

  • @heatseeker213 HAHAHA i heard swift drivers cant back and england drivers take really long

  • should be easy.. used to get in much tighter spots than that. you can clearly see its a straight in shot then hook to the left a bit. what's so hard about this?

  • I can do this one even with sleeper cab I can drop this trailer in hole in no time!

  • u look for a video(driver looking for new job) That driver is awesome, he backs b-triples easily.

  • you damn right it can be done with skills. lol guess i aint got dat far along yet, o well yall boys back yall doubles and what ever ill keep doin a 53 or 57 and call myself da shit even though ima be real i know its alot of yall that can do it better.

  • Yes, it can. If you have adequate skills and experience, it certainly can be done. My uncle managed a lumber yard a couple decades ago, and they had a few old-timers who routinely backed doubles several hundred yards around piles and stacks. I can do it myself, though not nearly with that level of skill. Just takes practice, mainly, and some level of inherent talent that simply cannot be taught. (something big outfits need to learn)

  • It most certainly CAN be done. Ive seen a driver back a B-train set around a corner and ive seen a CONWAY hit a dock with out splitting the set. both had been doing it for a LONG time, but it can be done

  • u cant back a double without dehaching the back one

  • you honestly think thats worth 5/5? LOL thats only worth 0.1/5, hes only in a single and hes still gotta creep forward 4 or 5 times to get it in there....hate to see him in a double....

  • good job!!!! 5/5
