Apartment Tour - December 2011

It's been a long time coming and even a day later than I predicted earlier this week but I finally figured out what I was going to do with almost all the rest of my figurines so I was able to get the basic layout of the place finally finished!

Granted, a month or two from now I might have even more up but I can worry about that then.

Feel free to ask about any parts I went over briefly. Once I finish repairing and setting up all of the figurines I plan to go through those much more slowly. For a complete DVD collection video I still have to figure out how I'm going to show all the DVDs since the place is so different so maybe I'll wait a month or two before I do that?

How do you do your anime dvd shelfs > do you double layer after u have the first row fone what do you do and explain how you do it please n thank you

I assumed from the start that I would have to double-layer so I double-layered on each row of each shelf as I went. That way the As are all to the left and the Ss are all to the right instead of being mixed together.

Did you go to college for programming, or are you self taught?

A little of both. There's a sort of art to programming that's thinking like a programmer and that was self-taught. The more advanced strategies and ideas and a bit of the practical applications came from college.

Turns out your black dvd shelves fit almost perfect together? I like how the kitchen has the wall cutout, you can make food and watch anime at the same time

Pretty much, although there is a slightly smaller brown shelf there. (It would have been black except they were out.)

You have a very nice home. And your collection is looking amazing as ever. I really like all the scrolls and figures too. I noticed you have a few Sabor's from Fate Stay Night as well...very nice. I believe the Sabor on your wall of dvd's is my next amazon purchase :) I've been looking for a Sabor with good articulation and realistic features. I think its the same one. Could be wrong, who knows.... But hope you enjoy your new home!
