Animals are being sold at flea markets and swap meets in terrible conditions. These venues provide situation where the seller has no legal oversight and no consumer accountability.
Born Free USA documented the conditions under which animals including reptiles, exotic birds, puppies, chicks, and baby bunnies are frequently sold. Historically these venues have also been prime outlets for the sale of smuggled wildlife especially wild-caught birds.
It's time to end the suffering of animals at swap meets and flea markets.
