The Worcester Re-enactors bring history to life, showing off costumes and weapons at Worcester Cathedral on Saturday 21st February.
The year is 1651. The Battle of Worcester was the final battle of the English Civil War. Oliver Cromwell and the Parliamentarians defeated the Royalist forces of King Charles II. The 16,000 Royalist forces were overwhelmed by the 28,000 strong "New Model Army" of Cromwell.

A note from the editor:
In this video you have to imagine that an army of 44,000 was at Worcester Cathedral. Please note that cars would not have been parked on the battle field in 1651.
