Today was my sixteenth day in the hospital, May 8, 2010, or Day +9. My white blood cell count is still zero. I have some nausea and vomiting time to time, but honestly I am not as sick as I was expecting to be, which makes me worry that it isn't working. I know that a little of Graft vs. Host Disease is desired to have an anti-tumor affect on my body. But, this may happen when my white blood cell count starts to come up, so I shouldn't fret yet. Don't get me wrong, I do not need to get full blown Graft vs. Host Disease because that would mean that my body rejected the donor's stem cells, and that is not good. It is a very fine line.
