This is my performance on this stunning track. It is played and recorded live (no editing was done) and then shooted some more takes for the video's needs. At 195 bpm if I 'm not mistaken,as this was done some months before I uploaded it. Recorded on Cubase SX5 with the use of Guitar Rig VST.

"Flight of the Bumblebee" is an orchestral interlude written by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov for his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, composed in 1899--1900. The piece closes Act III, Tableau 1, during which the magic Swan-Bird changes Prince Gvidon Saltanovich (the Tsar's son) into an insect so that he can fly away to visit his father (who does not know that he is alive). Although in the opera the Swan-Bird sings during the first part of the "Flight", her vocal line is melodically uninvolved and easily omitted; this feature, combined with the fact that the number decisively closes the scene, made easy extraction as an orchestral concerto piece possible. Στέλιο, μόλις είδα το βίντεο και έπαθα πλάκα! Το είχα ξανακούσει με ηλεκτρική κιθάρα από τον κιθαρίστα των Dream Theater στο άλμπουμ "An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess" και αναρωτιόμουν πώς θα ήταν άραγε να έβλεπα και το βίντεο... Ε λοιπόν, μόλις το είδα! Συγχαρητήρια!

Ωραιος φιλε μου!!! Μοτερακι σκετο!!!! Βεβαια αρχιζει κ ξεφευγει απο τα ορια του guitar playing κ παει σε ζογκλεριστικες καταστασεις. Το να εχει καποιος στοχο σε ποσα bpm μπορει να ανεβει απο μονο του δεν λεει τιποτα.Πιστευω πως ο Στελιος μπορει να βαλει κ μουσικη κ αισθημα στο παιξιμο του που βεβαια λειπουν παντελως σε αυτα τα .....κοντερ!!!!!!

@geokef Σ΄ ευχαριστώ πολύ φίλε μου για τα καλά σου λόγια. Το συγκεκριμένο κομμάτι εξ' ορισμού παίζεται Vivace δηλαδή οπουδήποτε μπορεί κάποιος πάνω από 144 bpm αν δεν απατώμαι. Τώρα το έπαιξα σ'αυτό το tempo κυρίως γιατί το Backing track με το μπασσάκι που μ' άρεσε τόσο ήταν εκεί,για κανένα άλλο λόγο. Πάλι καλά που παίζω κιθάρα πάντως,ο θείος του Woody Allen πέθανε παίζοντάς το στην τούμπα! :D
