The New Covenant of Grace has been made available for us. JESUS came to redeem us from the curse of the Law. The Laws were made for us man to realize that we need a Savior who loves us and gives us grace to be able to do those.

@Hisslave1 Do you also keep the sabbath? Cause if you don't then you're breaking the law. The problem that people don't understand is that if you want to keep one part of the law you gotta keep all of the law and the mosaic law has 613 laws in all in the torah. We have been made free from the law and and are now in the Spirit, with this liberty we should love. Giving to the poor and needy brethren is love. Giving to the poor and needy unbeliever is love. We have liberty not to sin but to love

Tithing was even before the law was made, Ask God how much he wants you to give, ask and it shall be answered!

That's good stuff! I read what the non-tithers write and I think "you don't really believe that, you have made money your god!'. Should we throw out the ten commanments as well? You can be cursed if you like, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. You have come way too late in my life to tell me that God has not poured out a blessing on me and my family because of faithfullness in tithing (and other things). All the promises of God are to me and mine yes and amen!

Whoever wants to keep the law of Moses to be saved or in right standing with God is cursed according to the book of Galatians. Why are people so confused between the covenants? We are under a greater covenant than the saints in the old testament. How about doing what Jesus said instead and start giving our money to the poor and needy, and I ain't just talking about a ten percent

I think everyone should tithe. Whats holding you back from giving the first 10% back to God, is money really that important to you? Or can you let God be your provider..

Malachi 3 says your cursed if you don't tithe.
Galatians 3:13 says we are redeemed from the curse of the Law.
Think I'll stick with the New Covenant.

The bottom line is that God says to specifically test Him on giving the tithe. He also said the He knows the hearts of men, so if your giving and your heart isn't in it, God doesn't really care how much you give or if you don't. the tithe is just antoher form of you saying, god I trust you with everything.
