This guy's one of the most narcissistic humans on earth. His Facebook page is like a International Male catalog. And, he ain't all that to begin with! I appreciate the PSA, and what he's trying to do, but sick of his constant "over-exposure"!

The point of this is to give hope to people living with the virus and to encourage people with HIV to take care of themselves and take their meds. Good for him.

The point of the spot is to take personal responsibility for our own well-being and our own happiness. Whether I like it or not... I'll never get around that. To CHOOSE empowerment is a daily (sometimes minute-to-minute) decision... It incorporates more than just medical care...it's my ENTIRE attitude about everything... what I feel, most importantly what I THINK can be true for me. Thanks Jack!

Gee, I wish I could be a luscious, semi-naked, semi-pornographic, entirely waxed ray of sunshine into the lives of HIV positive people everywhere. This being an old, worn out, ruined long-term survivor/cripple who makes people look the other way even when I'm not shitting blood isn't what it's cracked up to be.
I guess I didn't try hard enough.

No, this doesn't address all the ups and downs, and no, many of us do not look like this after 20 yrs, etc., etc., but it is a message of HOPE which beats pissing on someone else's experience because of resentment and self-pity. If I tested positive today THIS is what I'd like to see. POZ since '94 with an AIDS diagnosis in02. I still need HOPE to get out of bed each and every morning. Life comes with no promises.
