I like Cheney and I always have. I think what I like about him the most is that he could careless about his legacy or what the media does everyday to lie about him.

actually its because this is a republic not a democracy. they are not to pander to the masses. this is a representative democracy. this is why we have set term limits, so when the times comes you can vote for someone else! wow! those founding fathers were smart! panderin of the masses also changed the law of voting for senators. damn democrats.

The only reason we didn't occupy Iraq, was because the tanks ran out of gas in the middle of the desert. We did not have the means to resupply the entire military, so instead of overthrowing the government in 91, we declared it a success and went home.

When we finally got the technology to resupply infantry and mechanized infantry on the move in the desert in the 2000's, we invaded again and occupied. There's no other reason than that, that we didn't overthrow and execute Saddam in 91.
