I love all of Domingo's work. He is so versatile. My problem is I could for the longest time not point to a role and he would be the first tenor that came to mind. You say Andrea Chenier, the first tenor that comes to mind is Franco Corelli. You say Otello, I think Mario Del Monaco. But Domingo has been so good and versatile and so good for so long. It is amazing.

-
@sugarbist, que persona mas increible eres¡ What a jealous man¡ Any personal problem with Domingo? Your hatefulness to Domingo is sadly curious indeed¡

Even at this young age ,Domingo seems to be struggling a lot when reaching the passaggio just before the B-FLAT

@dlagrua well said no one has come even close to corellis rendition of this aria. domingo has a pleasant enough voice but second rate compered to corelli. the greatest of all time
this phrasing is so intelligent. talk about knowing what the hell is going on!

Wonderful combination of beauty and power, and deeply felt as well -- thank the Lord we've had Domingo to give us those qualities for the last 40 years. It can no longer be doubted: he is solidly among the greatest tenors of whom we have recordings (and videos). Bravo, Maestro Domingo!
