@NYCw66 please name a better one. I agree, this way of learning is terrible. Do you know any good ones with translations and things? (i also downloaded RS for free and did not like it). I would/can pay for a good one.

@loot6: There are different levels of strictness for the voice recognition.
There is a beginner setting, where you are allowed a little leeway with your pronunciation, and a more difficult setting where you have to pronounce it very accurately. They were probably using the beginner setting.

i have this in thai how do you know if your saying it right?????? there is no English spelling to know you saying it correctly???? some times the native speaker sound like they are saying one thing but you could be saying it wrong!!!! how do i apply to get English spelling it shows up in thai spelling i cant read thai!!!!!

Not to burst anyone's bubble but Mandarin may be the most widely spoken NATIVE language, English is FAR and beyond the most spoken language in the world with over 4 billion people speaking some form of english as either first or second language.
So, how many Chinese can speak Mandarin and English? And no, English was not my first language, but I've at least learned enough to know it is the world's dominant global language. Hell, we are typing in english on youtube for christ's sake.

That's funny, you pronounced juice completely wrong but it still said it was correct. You said guo qi instead of guo zhi.

Not to burst ur bubble or anything, but Mandarin Chinese is the most widely spoken language, Englis is the 2nd most, Spanish 3rd, & arabic 4th.
