@jdemers1993 They are exactly the same, except for the newer model's being changed from the older models. otherwise they are the same thing. The M4 IS an M16 with a shorter stock and barrel. That's it. The M16 can easily be changed to fire full auto but the military doesn't support it because more often then not warriors will unload the entire clip without hitting a single thing. That's the only reason they fire in semi and burst not semi and full auto.

@JMCSD it is, naturally because the m4 is a smaller weapon, but that isnt a major factor, it still comes apart the same way. its like an AK 74 vs an AKS 74, same gun on a smaller scale

@bballpitcher4 maybe they will when you spell like you're older than 13. but aside from size and firing modes, what makes them so different? They both fire 5.56x45mm nato, same gas operation.

@dubbeldiklolz unless you submerged it in liquid rubber im positive i could fieldstrip and clean a m16 under 6 minutes, because its a fieldstrip not a full dissasembly , and i dont even prefer the m16 , i would rather put my life in my AKs hands [grips?]

@ILikeToShootZombies dude do the army first read what i said if you clean and fieldstrip your gun in six minutes i dont want to be near you firing it it would jam or mis fire :P

I've had to do the AK and the AR and they are both very simple. But the AK is by far the most basic gun of the two.
