Jumping my girl

Jumping Pitufa for the third time, I'm so proud of her, those of you who train horses know that proud feeling of seeing them evolve.
We've only been doing small jumps but try to jump small courses so she gets a confidence boost when it comes to jumping. she has yet to refuse a jump and I actually think she likes jumping.
She is a 12 year old lusitano tb cross that has never jumped a day in her life before I started like 1 month or something ago and this was only her third time.

No harsh critics please.
but any advice is good.

Your horse(s) are very lucky to have someone with sense riding them, and in the long run, when you begin jumping bigger, and in competitions or whatnot, you will be better since you have the on-ground training for things. Even just a simple hunter line, if you have your dressage you'll be able to adjust your horses stride no problem, PLUS you'll actually go straight down the line.

I am a total dressage freak I wouldn't even consider jumping a horse that doesn't have the basic dressage, if you look at my horse's dressage videos you will see how much I enjoy it, I only jump with him 2 times a month the rest of the month is for training the flatwork and I love it. Take a look at my dressage videos and tell me what you think =)

Good riding. I like how you sit up nice and tall before and after, and how you work over low jumps. It rots me to see people jumping huge fences just because when they could and should be schooling over smaller jumps. I like your horse as well, how tall is she?

thank you, I love love love dressage, and I think it is really important to have her totally under control on the flat before anything else, she's not very tall probably 1.53-1.55

You look great on her! But I would recommend changing her bit, she looks a little over collected and that can be uncomfortable for horses that are green to fences. She needs to be able to stretch out (: Great job & cute video!

My god!!!! Finally, someone who has some sense!!!! You don't even understand how happy I am to hear someone say something like that. Dressage is the basics for everything, however because of the fact that it is "less exciting looking" way too many people just skip over it.
