Hoards of Rebuilding Together volunteers gathered in West Tampa Bay in the rain and cold for Kickoff to Rebuild 2009. The volunteers repaired and restored homes in the historic community. The more than 1,000 volunteers were joined by NFL players Ryan Nece, Will Allen, D'Qwell Jackson, Brandon Jones, Duke Preston, Adrian Jones, Nick Sorensen and Oliver Hoyte. Teams painted homes, planted trees and provided major repairs and home restoration components to each of the homes.
