It was because of taxation without representation that there was a Boston Tea Party held on December 16, 1773.

On November 23,1808, the colonial territory og Connecticut Farms was founded, which later became the modern 200 year old colonial Township of Union we live in today.

On July 30, 2009, a short time after celebrating our colonial 200th birthday, our Charter Study Commision decided to deny its residents living in Union any Direct Representation in "their" town government. Which, a form of the New Jersey Falkner Act would provide the Tax Payers in the Township of Union.

It seems that this Town Hall hand picked Charter Study Commission clearly would have the residents living in the Township of Union remain under the rule of our modern King George III and his minions.

To witness a "People's" movement to take back control from 25+ years of tyranny from the Democratic party in New Jersey...
