This is an early attempt at using the 222e musically. Unfortunately, the 222e was acting up and it took a few takes to get a good one. It is now being serviced and will hopefully be returned in good working order soon.

  • Fantastic demo, very cool! Just learning the 222e and 250e combo myself can I ask how you achieved the transposing?

  • @7thDanSound Thanks! I did that video about three weeks ago and then sent the input port back to B&A for repair, so I only had it a couple of days. If I remember right, I tuned the two keys before tuning the 250e. The cvs of the 250e and the 222e both go in to the cv in of the oscillator. I am amazed at how easy the 222e is to use!

  • Are you using Lightning near the end of the vid ?

  • @fran86beta Yeah, actually, it is one of the rings of the 222e. Any time you see my arm waving around, I'm using the ring.

  • I love that sound...

Are you able to get the lower tones even more bassy? That would give some goosebumps...

  • @fran86beta Is possible use the Lightning ring with other modular system (non-Buchla ones) ?

    Best,

  • ...quite wonderful!
