One of 21 video poems in Four Seasons Productions newly released Moving Poetry Series - Three innovative new films - RANT * RAVE * RIFF. Poema 20 was written in 1924 by Pablo Neruda. The poem is recited in its native Spanish by Carlos Alfaro and includes English subtitles translated from Spanish by W.S. Merwin. Perhaps one of Neruda's most beautiful love poems Poema 20 comes to life with classic footage of Rudolph Valentino.

  • I am from Chile, I was forced to learn this poem in school when I was little, I even met PABLO NERUDA.He was my father client in VALPARAISO.

Now that I am an adult, I understand the real meaning of this poem and make my eyes watery.

I feel proud to knew a Novel prize and have his autorgraph. but over all been chilean because we no only have one Novel prize but two, and She is Gabriela Mistral.
