  • Very nice video - very well prepared and informative. How much difference is there between your Golf and a Passat (04)?

  • @OVTobin

    I really don't know, I don't own a Passat, sorry.

  • 8:00 That is a beautiful camera angle I loved it one of the most eye pleasing views I have seen in a long time, professionally!!

  • @DidYouSeeTheSunrise

    Thank you!

  • @RodriguezInnovations I have a 2004 Passat Wagon, will the CV come out of the back side of the ?wheel end also or do I need to disassemble something more. I removed all 6 bolts from the other end but the damn axle is stuck. I am ready to cut the bitch in half & loose my core refund for it.

  • @WaterlooTriumphGuy

which side of the car are you working on?

(with the front end off the ground)

Have you tried turning the steering wheel to give you more room?

  • @RodriguezInnovations

If you can't get it off, you will not be able to put the new one on either...just remember that.

  • Can this same method be used for a 2000 Audi TT Quattro AWD??!!!

  • Similar to an Audi a4 1999? seems like it though.

  • @OVTobin It is a little different, Golf has McPhaerson, bud Passat has more elemental axle, soo it is harder ti dismantle... , but CV joints are almost the same...

  • really good how to video

  • Great info. Video bro.

  • Clear, concise, couldn't be easier to follow...thanks!

  • Awesome video! Helped me immensely, thankyou. I missed the manual transmission is a different size exert. So for everyone out there, manual (on VR6 at least) was a m12 Triple Square.
